Even though she may forget, I will not forget you!"

Christmas Party & Fun Times

Today was amazing!  The kids were so excited, and couldn't wait for the party.  We got to play with the kids and have some fun.  Then the Christmas tree and decorations put up, and it was time for the Christmas celebration!  There was food, cupcakes and crafts.  The Isaiah Center kids did a special concert/presentation that Monica set up and lead.  It was sooooooooooo cute!  Then, a special visitor came, and of course that was Santa!  The kids were all so excited to see him, except for George!  He's four and hid behind his mom.  He did accept the presents though!  Alan shared with the family about the meaning we gathered to celebrate, and that is to celebrate the birth of Christ.  Kim closed us out with an amazing prayer.  We are so thankful to be able to be here in Romania to share this special time again this year.

Party #1 preparation

Let's get this party started!  Even though we were exhausted, we couldn't wait to start wrapping presents to get ready for the first Christmas party tomorrow!  We are as excited as the kids and the families!  But for now, it's time for bed so we can get up to go to the Isaiah Center to be with the babies and toddlers in the Seeds of Hope Program.  Until then.............good night!

Christmas in Romania 2013

We finally made it to Romania!  We left on Sunday morning and made it to Munich Germany on Monday morning.  After a nap, we got on a bus and then on a train to see downtown Munich.  We only had one little mishap.  Alan did not get off the train when we did.............and as all three of us stood there, watched Alan look out the window to see we were off, he wasn't, and the train was moving!  Missy went one way, and Kim and Lois another.  An hour or more of chaos, and we found Alan, and five minutes later, there was Missy!  This was only by the grace of God!  It was very stressful at the time, but gave us lots to talk about, and to laugh about later.

It's been a long couple of days, but worth every minute to be here at Katartizo!  We're worn out, but feel right at home.  Dinner is on it's way!

Please pray for God to use every minute while we're here this week, to share His love as we celebrate Christmas with the children and families cared for through FMN!

We'll be at the Isaiah Center tomorrow and will prepare for the first Christmas party.  We can't wait!  Thank you to everyone who donated funds to make this celebration possible!
