Today we got more done at the center. The kitchen was primered. Donnie put together the last two beds and another cabinet. More sorting and organizing was done. George looks like a professional painter in his croqueted hat and did a great job painting doors and trim. The plumber came and hooked up the washer which will be in use tomorrow to wash clothes for the kids that have been in storage. The plumber will be back tomorrow for some minor repairs on the toilet. The kitchen will be painted and more doors and trim will be painted as well.
We were all cheering after the water heater kicked in and we had WARM water and Rachel was so excited to get a new ladder tall enough to reach the light fixtures hanging from the tall ceilings. Two more wood stoves will be installed tomorrow. The houses here are very different with exterior doors with windows separating each room. There will be four stoves in all to keep the center warm.
We are all amazed at how God is taking care of every detail, large and small, to get the children's center opened and we will be here to share this exciting time with Rachel, FMN and the children coming to the center. Rachel's excitement and enthusiasm brings so much joy as she sees her "God size" dream becoming a reality. She was beaming today with all that has been accomplished in the last couple of days. Her joy and laughter is contageous!
Iza has been the center of attention with Buni and Boo Boo and she is eating it up. It is so fun to see George and Sue Linn love on their girls and get to be with them at this very special time.

Wow, things are moving so quickly. Just wanted you to know how much I've enjoyed the pictures. It's interesting though, I've found myself rushing to the computer here, for a word from you all, just like we did in Romania, looking for a word from home.
Love to everyone,
Beth
How proud George and Sue Linn are of the work that their family is doing there,I can see it in their faces.I am so proud of my First Baptist Family over there too! I know that Jesus is smiling on all of you for the work your doing! To see the look on the kids faces will be a Blessing in itself.
Thanks and God Bless
Rick

Good Morning Friends,
My day is just beginning here at 9:00am, while yours is in full swing at 4:00pm. I've been praying for you each by name, picturing the sweet expressions on your faces as you delve into the tasks at hand today.
My heart is overwhelmed as I praise the Lord for the blessings he gives us by allowing us to bless others. What a Mighty God we serve!
WORD for the day:
Romans 15:5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mark 10: 13, 14,16
(13) People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. (14) When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." (16) And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
May the Lord bless you today with an extra ounce of strength for the tasks that must be done, love and patience for one another, and peace in knowing that you said "yes" to the call when you were asked.
Beth
