"Can a mother forget...and have no compassion on the child she is borne?
Even though she may forget, I will not forget you!"

We're back!

We made it to Romania with no problems. Flights were all on time and we all did fine. The weather here is much different than home. It is cold and it had been snowing. It was foggy the entire four hour drive from Budapest to Romania from the cold and snow with very minimal visibility.

We are excited to be back in Romania to help Rachel get the children's center opened. We begin in the morning!

We can't help but share a special family picture. It is Donna and Everett Koopman's family (Lois' sister and brother in law) with their new addition, sweet little Alice from Liberia. They picked her up in Chicago on Monday and arrived in Louisville Tuesday around 1:00, right before we checked in to leave for Romania.

It is a reminder of how God desires for ALL the children of the world to be loved and cared for, and for us to take his love and light throughout the world. The Koopman's have done just that by changing the life of sweet little Alice from Liberia, and Forget Me Not Ministries is changing the lives of children in Romania.

Love,

Kim, Donnie. George, Sue Linn, Rachel, Iza, Erin and Lois

Hey, great to hear you made it okay. I've been checking the blog all day waiting for that first little bit of information. Get a little rest because knowing first hand how Rachel and Erin schedule things you will be very busy for the next week. Give Iza, Rachel and Erin a hug from me. We will be praying for you every day.

Hey guys,

I'm so glad you all made it safe and sound. It sounds like the weather is much worse than it is here. Do you want to know it's been 50 to 60 degrees here?

I'm so excited about all the work you will get to accomplish to get the children's center up and running. I pray that the complications are few and that your energy is high.

Here's a WORD for the day:
2 Thessalonians 2:16,17
"May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word."

Thanks for doing the "good deeds"
Love you much!

Hey friends,

It's Beth again. I wanted to do a test run and write down the instructions of how to comment. I had a little trouble figuring it all out and thought that maybe others would to. Anyway, I hope you hear from others soon.

Glad no problems with your travels. Any UFO's this trip? Looking forward to seeing the pictures and reading about the work you'll be doing. Wish we could be there when the kids are safely in their new home. Would love to wash the mud off Maria and rock her to sleep--or any of the other little ones. Jerry and I are there in spirit, though. Rachel, Erin and Izy--big bear hug from Jerry and I. You are such a blessing to the gypsies and the people of Romania. We'll be praying for you every day.
