Thank you God! The children's center is ready and opens tomorrow! The center looks great and we can't wait to go pick up the kids and bring them to the center for the very first time. We are excited and a bit anxious as we know it will be an emotional day, for us and for the kids.
We anticipate that each of the kids will have to be treated for lice before we can bring them into the center. It may be necessary to shave their heads to help treat the lice quicker to provide them with a clean and safe environment. We will have hats to keep their heads warm and their hair will grow back pretty quickly. None of us are looking forward to this but know it's for the best of the children.
We've been told that the kids may have a hard time even having a bath as some of them have never taken baths before. Rachel and Erin shared that they had given Florica a bath one time and she was screaming and swinging because she was so scared. Most kids love to play in the bathtub and yet for these kids, a bath is scarey and not fun. We will do what we have to and them get them dressed in new clothes, bundle them up and love on them all day!
We have worked from morning until night since we got here last week to get the center opened, and God has made that happened through a small team of people! Thank you God! We are in awe at what He has done and what He will do in the future through FMN and the Children's Center for the the kids in the Gypsy community.
The Center looks great! The kitchen tile was finished today. Keep in mind that a team will come to Romania in May and replaster the walls in most of the rooms and they'll all get a fresh coat of paint! It will be awesome. The walls may not look great, but they are clean and the kids will have warm, comfortable beds, new clothes, lots of toys, plenty of food, and most of all, the love that every child deserves! They will receive love from Rachel, Erin and others who will work with FMN, and they will come to know that they have a Father in Heaven who loves them so much and will have hope for a brighter tomorrow!
Rachel is praying for God to send the people to work at the center to help care for the kids. It was amazing that as we worked today, she had five or more people come up to the door to ask about jobs. The word has gotten out that the children's center is opening and people are looking for work. Some are only looking for jobs but some are looking to make a difference in the lives of the children in Tinca. Please pray for God's will to be done, and for the people He has chosen to work with FMN for the sake of the children.
Thank you for your love, encouraging comments on the blog and your continued prayers!

What an accomplishment! Wow! I knew you could do it, with God's help. We are so proud of all of you. What dedication and steadfastness. Our prayers will be with you tomorrow. Love, Grandma and Pa-Pa Gulley xoxoxo
I saw God's love and beauty this week in a sunrise. I heard Him as the birds heralded in the morning with song. I felt Him in the kiss of a snowflake on my cheek.
The people of Romania can see His love in the hands of those who assemble furniture, paint walls, scrub floors and make beds. They feel Him in the hugs of those who cradle the little ones in their arms. They hear Him in the joyous laughter of those who work happily for His glory. But most of all, they hear Him when someone says,"I Love You".
Blessings and Love,
Deborah Woods
Everything looks wonderful. Matti got really excited when I showed her the pictures of the toys, beds, and cribs, a true sign that the children are going to love it there.... Can't wait to see pictures of Tuesday.

I am so sorry, I have not left any comments over the weekend. I know how important they are. I had a very big weekend and it looks like you all did too. Once again God is doing amazing things in such a short period of time with a small group of people. From the pictures it looks like you all have done a wonderful job getting the center ready for those children.
Love you all!
Brett
The house sure looks different on a sunny day than it did that rainy night we were there in November! The inside is beautiful. I am just overwhelmed that you all have accomplished so much in so short a period of time. Can't wait to see tomorrow's pictures! Have a great day and give the kids an extra hug and kiss from Jerry and me.
All of you guys have done such a wonderful job in Romainia. It is such a blessing and so very inspiring to hear of the children that will be helped in the center. The stories and testimonies of God's work with the team & children brings so much joy to my heart and I'm sure, to all others at FBC. We will continue to pray diligently for the center, the children and parents in Romainia, and for the safe return for our helpers in Christ.
Bless all of you,
-Bud & Kathy Schuster & Family
Awesome! Our God is such an "AWESOME GOD!!!!!"
I left a comment yesterday, but apparantly I didn't save it correctly, So here I go again.
The house looks so great, you can feel the warmth and glowing through the pictures. The kids will love it! I see Donnie sitting on the job again(lol)
I would like to thank you each one of you and others that were able to make this happen. When God called out to you, you listen and made the right choice to follow him and let him use your hands to mold this "home" make a difference in childrens lives. (give hope and meaning to people who might not have had it.) Thanks again not letting Satan rain on Gods parade!
I can imagine the worship on Sunday, love to hear George preach. Just don't wear your "favorite" shoes cause he could preach them right off of you, one Saturday/Sunday service.
I will still be praying for your safe return and for Rachel & Erin.
The pictures are nice to see God at work!!!!! How can you not believe, Emmanual (God with us)!!!
