"Can a mother forget...and have no compassion on the child she is borne?
Even though she may forget, I will not forget you!"

More Than A Full Day of Fun!

We had a late night last night but were up and running this morning.  We went to the village to pick up the Seeds of Hope kids.  We had so much fun and can't believe how all of these babies have grown!  They were bathed, then fed, and then in for a puppet show and lesson.  Christy and Zoe did an amazing job writing the "script" and Grampy (Mike) and Zoe did a great job doing the puppets.  The kids LOVED it!  We're pretty sure they had never seen puppets before.  They learned a new worship song lead by Christy and Zoe.  So much fun!  Then they got to make bracelets with the help of a lot of adults!  They were so cute and so anxious to get them done to wear them!

After lunch it was time for the Seeds of Hope kids to go home, and time to pick up the older kids from school.  They were all excited to see us and we were excited to see them.  They had their lunch and then it was time for their puppet show and lesson.  The lesson was perfect for the older kids as it related to not fitting in or being judged by looking different by color.  Lola the Llama (Zoe) didn't feel like she fit in anywhere.  She didn't feel like she could do anything.  Sara (Mike) encouraged Lola that God made her just the way that she was and loved her.  She is perfect and created Jesus perfect.  Watching the kids interact as they could relate, we can only pray that they got the point.  They too are Jesus perfect.  It was awesome!

They learned a new worship song and really did a great job picking up the motions and the words.  Then off to their craft and made knot bracelets.  It was so much fun.

Then it was time for the kids to have their afternoon tutoring and they worked really hard.  After that, it was time to play!  It was 60 today and a perfect day to be outside.  Lots of jumping in the trampoline, riding bikes, playing soccer, playing in the dirt and just hanging out being kids.  There were some old kids there too (us) and we got in on the trampoline and soccer action too.

It was time to take the kids back to the village.  They had such a great day and so did we!  We can't wait to see them again.  Tomorrow we will have the second set to the puppet, worship and games.  This is right down Christy's alley!  She's done an amazing job making all of the plans.  In the afternoon we'll be going out to the village to visit with each family and deliver food packages.  It's always so special to meet them in their homes, loving and encouraging them, and praying over and with them.  We can't wait!

So many pictures to share, but couldn't exclude many.  You can tell by the smiles that all were blessed!

FMN has made a huge impact on so many in Tinca.  We have watched the ministry grow from the start up to now, and are in awe of all that God has done through this ministry!  We are having an "unofficial meeting" tonight coming up with names and logos for some new business ventures but with lack of sleep and delirium, we're mostly laughing like crazy!
