Another great day today from start to finish, but we're still going strong. We were at the Isaiah Center again today, with the puppet show/lesson and games for the Seeds of Hope kids, and later for the Isaiah kids. They had so much fun and so did we. The lesson was about how Jesus loves us no matter what.
We went to the village after lunch to deliver food packages and visit and pray with each family. Relationships are so important, and when these families see people come back year after year, those relationships grow stronger and stronger. We visited with 12 families and loved and encouraged them. They were asked for prayer requests and we prayed with and for each family. They were so encouraged and we were so moved by each experience.
We're looking forward to tomorrow. We'll spend time at the center again tomorrow with the last of the puppet show/lesson and some sweet treats. The Seeds of Hope mom's (teen moms) will be coming tomorrow for Bible study and we are going to teach them how to make the tie blankets out of fleece. We've talked about sharing a testimony in hopes that these young woman will be encouraged. Rachel said that the Roma think that we, as Americans, have everything and have no problems, and that we make no mistakes. We all know that's not true. We all have "stuff!" Pray for God to use this testimony to speak to these young women and hear what He wants them to hear, and hopefully encourage them.
The Seeds of Hope and men's Bible study will be tomorrow evening. We will be grilling for them, and the guys will be sharing some food and fun, a bonfire, and again, a testimony shared. We pray, again, that God will use this testimony to speak to the teen boys and men, and hopefully soften some of their hearts where they too can see that God can change lives, if we are open and if we allow Him to transform our lives.
So many pictures, each telling a story.
